How It Works?

Using a combination of light and energy, the laser targets the melanin that is produced in the hair follicles during growth. This is why multiple treatments are needed, as hair follicles are in different growth phases. During the weeks leading up to the treatment, no waxing, tweezing, or depilatory creams can be used, as this will remove the hair bulb. Laser hair removal treatments are quick and convenient, with no downtime after each session.

What To Expect?

Patients should expect to receive an average of 6-8 treatments to achieve permanent hair removal. After treatments begin, patients will begin to notice the following effects:

Can Laser Hair Removal be performed on darker skin types?

Our laser hair removal works on all skin tones. Unlike some methods that are limited to light skin tones, our advanced laser precisely targets hair follicles and eliminates hair at the root without damaging your skin. It is effective even on the darkest skin tones.

Guidelines

  • *Laser treatments work best on dark, coarse hair
  • *This course of treatment is not recommended for blonde, white, or gray hair
  • *Patients should avoid sun exposure 7 days before and after treatment
  • *No chemical tans can be applied prior to treatments
  • *Patients should avoid photosynthesizing medications during treatment
  • *Patients with active infections cannot be treated
  • *The area should be shaved prior to treatment
  • *Discontinue waxing and tweezing, as the hair follicle needs to be available during treatment
