Pre-Procedure for Laser Hair Removal
- No waxing or tweezing the area 14 days prior to your appointment.
- Discontinue use of antibiotics 7 days prior to a scheduled appointment.
- Discontinue use of acne medication 5 days prior to your appointment.
- Avoid sun exposure 7 days prior to service.
- Do not use any self-tanner and/pr receive a spray tan. (The laser picks up on pigment, and the use of any kind of artificial tanner will disrupt any hair removal.)
Post Procedure for Laser Hair Removal
- Avoid Sun exposure, including tanning beds, 7 days after the procedure.
- Postpone taking any antibiotics for at least 7 days after procedure.
- Postpone any acne medications for at least 5 days.
